Resolution

After purchasing a subscription to Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, it will appear on the Customer Portal under the Subscriptions tab on your account. Ansible Tower 3.6 or later can be entitled directly from the Tower web user interface by entering your Red Hat username and password. Follow the instructions in the Ansible Tower Quickstart Guide. Note that this requires the platform to be installed on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and that the platform is able to reach https://subscription.rhsm.redhat.com.

If the Tower system does not have access to the internet, a license key is also sent out to the contact person on the account, typically three days before the start of the subscription period. If the license key was not sent, reach out to your sales representative to determine who is the designated person in your organization.
